The Holy Name Society is an organization that has been active in the Catholic Church for over 700 years. The Society promotes reverence for the Sacred Names of God and Jesus Christ, and promotes the personal holiness of its members.
Members are called to contribute to the general mission of the Church. We are also called to assist in parish ministries by performing corporal and spiritual works of mercy. To these ends we annually run a Turkey Raffle, with some of the proceeds going to help our parish Saint Vincent de Paul Society, and a Jesus-centered Christmas Poster Contest involving the youth of our parish, as well as helping out others in need. We have also organized a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island for a day of prayer and reflection.
Our meetings are currently held on the second Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. Come to a meeting and find out about becoming a member of the Holy Name Society!
