Financial Stewardship
The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own,
but they had everything in common. With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all. There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale, and put them at the feet of the apostles, and they were distributed to each according to need.
-Acts of the Apostles 4:32-35

Members of this community of believers are called to share their gifts and talents throughout life of the parish. One of the ways this sharing takes place is through financial giving. This is most clearly demonstrated in the collection at Sunday Mass where each member contributes what he or she can offer for the good of the community.
This offering allows the parish to meet basic expenses and to serve the local community, particularly those in need. In addition to the collection at Sunday Mass, parishioners are asked to share their gifts through our “fun” and “F=fund” raisers including: The Catholic Ministries Appeal , Super 72 Raffle and various other projects.
