We are a parish spiritual and social organization open to all Christian women, whether single, married or widowed. Our main purpose is to build and foster spiritual growth and education within ourselves, our families, and our children.
Mothers rule the world and guide the destinies of their home.
Christian Mothers learn to unite their own hearts to Christ,
so that they can help to draw their families closer to the Lord.
By unifying and supporting one another through prayer under the special patronage of Mary, the Mother of Sorrows, we strengthen the spiritual life within our family, and we are a source of blessing to our parish community.
We meet monthly to pray together and organize spiritual activities, social events and fundraisers such as: a Monthly Mass at OLPH; a pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Island Shrine in Manorville; a lunch and tour at Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River; our annual Enrollment Mass and Dinner; and our annual Advent Party. These activities offer an opportunity to connect with other women on a social basis and to support our parish.
You’re not a member, but this seems to call to you? We sincerely welcome you to attend one of our meetings held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (September through June) at 8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Come and see what our organization is all about.
