About Thomas Crennan

As Business Manager with the parish, Tom brings to OLPH a strong business leadership background, with a career implementing technology and reducing costs through improved change process, for companies JP Morgan Chase, S&P, Thomson Reuters and Emblem Health. He has strong experience in detailed planning around organization goals and vision, and has achieved the business certification as Six Sigma Black Belt. In addition, Tom has ten years’ experience teaching in the Commack School District Continuing Education Program.

Tom is a native Long Islander, born and raised in East Meadow, and currently resides in Huntington Bay. Tom helped raise two great kids, one residing in San Diego and the other in Massapequa, and can now boast two special grandkids. He attended Hofstra University (BS in Economics) and Adelphi (MBA in International Finance). He started his parochial calling (thanks to his Mom and Dad) by attending St Brigid’s grammar school, and then continuing to support a number of parishes throughout the diocese: Our Holy Redeemer, St Matthew’s, Christ the King, and St. Patrick’s (Huntington). Tom was one of the youngest parishioners to serve on the St Brigid’s Parish Council.
