Jill Marie Delano was brought up in an Italian-Irish family, where the Catholic faith was extremely in the forefront in the Delano household, as it still is. Jill grew up in Bethpage, Long Island, where she attended six years of schooling at St James in Seaford. After many years of being away from Long Island, Jill came back to bring up her two boys in the same neighborhood, including the same Roman Catholic Church.
For 25 years, after graduating with her Bachelor’s in Education as well as her Master’s, she decided to retire and begin studies in accounting. Jill received her degree in accounting, and this path brought her into another chapter of her life.
Jill is extremely active in the Catholic faith: she has been involved in the Hospitality Ministry at St. William the Abbot, Seaford; has been an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion for the last 20 years; and has taught in Faith Formation in various grades.
Besides Jill’s love of her family, especially her two boys, her dedication to her career and to her faith have always been the priority, and now being able to work hand-in-hand with finances and with Catholicism, and then go home at the end of the day, is a terrific triple threat!
